Rachael Osovich is an experienced MMA fighter in the US that fights as a Flyweight. In November 18, 2018, there was a report that Ostovich was viciously assaulted causing an injury to her orbital bone that was fractured as well as other injuries, and because of her injuries she withdrew from the battle against VanZant. On November 27 the match between Ostovich with VanZant confirmed by the 19th of January, 2019 when Ostovich's medical doctor had approved the fight. Ostovich lost in the second round via the armbar submission. Rachael along with Veronica Macedo were scheduled to compete at UFC on ESPN+ 14 on August 8th, 2019. Then she was replaced by Polyana Viana for unknown reasons. Ostovich and Shana dobson were due to fight on the 23rd of February 2020 in Auckland, New Zealand at UFC Fight Night Night 168, but this was cancelled. Ostovich however, on the flip side of the coin was withdrawn from this fight when she tested positive for ostarine. Priscila Camchoeira then replaced her. It was announced on June 18, that Ostovich took a one year USADA penalty for her positive test for ostarine in the month of January in 2020. Ostovich's positive test result for Ostarine on January 3rd 2020 came back as GW1516. Her punishment was an 8-month suspension from USADA. The substance discovered to be a banned ingredient within one of Ostovich's supplements was not mentioned on the label. Gina Mazany will fight Blaydes at ESPN on the 28th of November 2020. In the third round she fell down after being hit by body kicks. The UFC then kicked her out on December 7, 2020, after she suffered three consecutive defeats.
